So many of you have contacted us asking how you can help with the Hurricane Irma relief efforts. We have been truly touched by the outpouring of love and support. There are a number of ways you can help and get involved – here are three:
- For North Americans, there is the Turks and Caicos Rebuilding Fund, which is spearheaded by Habitat Construction and Domino Creative, who are working to get building supplies on island and into the hands that need them as soon as possible, including many of the employees of The Hartling Group.
- For Europeans, there is Hurricane Irma Relief TCI, which is a UK-based initiative of TCI Islanders establishing reliable funding for the TCI in affiliation with the non-profit charity Food For Thought. Food for Thought is a not-for-profit company providing free breakfasts to the children of Turks & Caicos Islands.
- If you would like to assist with organizing relief items, the Turks & Caicos Red Cross can help get items on the island duty free. You can contact them at [email protected] or visit [email protected]. You can also call 649-331-8056 or 649-331-3443.
